A man from Maokeng, Kroonstad, has been arrested for being in possession of livestock suspected to have been stolen.
After the police received information of livestock being kept in a house in Maokeng, officers went to the Khahliso Moeketsi section to investigate and found 11 sheep reportedly stolen from the Koppies district. A man (31) was arrested and the owner of the livestock informed of the recovery.
The suspect was set to appear in the Kroonstad Magistrates’ Court.
