Goldfields Hospice extended its sincere appreciation and gratitude to Vista newspaper for the outstanding support, kindness and dedication shown to the organisation for more than 30 years.
Since the establishment of Goldfields Hospice Welkom, Thabong and Virginia, Vista has continuously played an important role in promoting the organisation’s projects, fundraising initiatives and community outreach programmes.
Through consistent news coverage, the newspaper has helped create awareness of the vital services provided by the hospice and the difference it makes in the lives of patients and their families.
Ray Goodsell, chairperson of Goldfields Hospice, and Tanja Schutte, office manager, expressed their heartfelt thanks on behalf of the community, staff, volunteers, patients and families who have benefited from Vista’s ongoing support.

Goldfields Hospice also congratulated Vista on its 55th anniversary. The newspaper’s dedication, commitment and continued support of the Goldfields community have not gone unnoticed. For decades, Vista has remained a trusted voice in the region and a valued supporter of organisations working to uplift and care for the community. Goldfields Hospice thanked Vista for being part of its journey and for continuing to make a positive difference in the lives of so many people across Welkom and the Goldfields community.
