Spreading holiday cheer this Christmas

The Gifting Tree at the Goldfields Mall is a festive initiative for people to spread some holiday cheer by supporting three charities: Engo, House of Hope, and Claws. Each charity has decorated the tree with gift tags, and everyone is invited to take a tag, purchase the corresponding gift, and return it to the info desk with the tag attached. These gifts will be distributed to those in need. All are invited to participate and make a difference this holiday season. Enjoying the wonder of the Gifting Tree are Shikoh Grootboom (5) and Victor du Toit (4). Victor is the grandson of Wanda Foley and Cindy Bortnowski of Welkom.
