The Welkom police have arrested a 39-year-old foreign national in possession ofCAT crystal meth and tik.
He has been charged with possession, as well as dealing in drugs.
On 15 July at about 15:30 members of the Welkom K9 unit were en route to Odendaalsrus for a police operation when they saw a known foreign national male walking along the R30 road between Welkom and Odendaalsrus.
They searched the man and found the drugs in a container near his vehicle.
