At this very moment there is a groan, a deep longing and desperate desire, being released by all of creation.

A groan rising out of creation’s subjection to slavery and futility because of the curse of sin. A groan not immediately audible to the natural ear, but certainly visible in a multitude of ruinous symptoms permeating families, societal and governmental structures, and even nature.

This groan, the Holy Spirit tells us in Romans 8, is answered in the revealing of the sons and daughters of the Most High.

The revealing of the sons and daughters of God in the nature, power, and authority of the perfect Son, Jesus.

This truth will be finally actualised with the Second Coming of Jesus, but it also has a very real implication and hope for the here and now.

There is something dynamic about believers walking in the revelation of their relation to God as Father that enables them to become a source of healing, supernatural solutions, hope, the miraculous, reconciliation, breakthrough, and encouragement.

Everything starts with identity.

When we understand who we are and whose we are we will grasp what we have been purposed and empowered to do. I release this as a herald and a heartfelt prayer.

Will you pray and come into agreement with me?

Father, call us as Your sons and daughters to arise by Your Spirit in the nature, power, and authority of Your Son, Jesus. Bring us as believers in the Goldfields into a greater understanding of who and whose we are. Grace us to arise by the power of Your Spirit to respond to the groan in ways that brings You glory and makes Your Name known in the earth.
