Hanno van Jaarsveld, a young equestrian of Naudeville Primary School in Welkom took part in the Sanesa Qualifier 5 that was held at the Bloemfontein Equestrian Centre from 25 to 27 July. He achieved eight gold medals for jumping 90cm, normal competition, jumping 90cm, accumalator, working hunter 90cm, working riding, equitation intermediate 80cm, dressage B, Prix Caprilli A and Prix Caprilli B.
