The much-anticipated Thundertour will be held at the Welkom Club at 17:00 for a show and shine with the Welkom car clubs. There will be 81 vehicles which will include V8 motors, Mustangs, Luminas, Streetrods, Ratrods and Super motors. This is the second time that the entire Thundertour group gather in Welkom.

Erfdeel NG-gemeente hou van 09:00 tot 14:00 ‘n basaar. Heerlike etes, nagereg, pannekoek, vars gebakte produkte, rou vleis, vars groente en vrugte en ‘n verskeidenheid lekkergoed sal te koop aangebied word. Vir die kinders sal daar gelblasters, springkastele, ‘n troetel-
dier-tuin, die Cheetah-trein en ander aktiwiteite wees.

Die Flamingo Rotary-klub en Goldfields Hospice se 36ste gholfdag vind by die Oppenheimer-gholfklub in Welkom plaas. Die formaat is vierbal-alliansie-kiesspel (fourball alliance scramble drive). Dit kos R350 per speler en dit sluit halfweg-verversings in.
