Mosa Mokalobe, a gr. 7 learner of the Dagbreek Primary School, did well during the Kiriakos Michalakis Chess Tournament that was held on 5 August in Hoopstad.

Five learners and an educator of Dagbreek Primary School in Welkom will represent Lejweleputswa in boys cricket.
