Hoërskool Hennenman achieved a 100% pass rate, with Louan Kotze earning eight distinctions and ranking among the top 50 matriculants in the Free State for 2025. Other high achievers included AJ Pitzer and Danika Swartz. Goudveld-Hoërskool also excelled, boasting a 99.3% pass rate and numerous distinctions among its students.

The Goldfields’ Matric Class of 2025 celebrated impressive results. Wessel Maree High School achieved a 97.5% pass rate, with Dihani Müller earning seven distinctions. Hentie Cilliers High School and Welkom Technical High School followed with 95.5% and 92.13% pass rates respectively. Overall, many students excelled, showcasing academic excellence.

St Dominic’s College in Welkom achieved a 100% pass rate for the Class of 2025, with 95% obtaining bachelor’s degree passes. Chrisanthi Kamenos led with seven distinctions, followed by Aerin Rooney with five. Notably, Kamenos scored in the Top 1% for Accounting, among other subjects where students excelled.
