For all 55 years that Vista has been in print, Virginia SPCA has had the privilege of working alongside and benefiting from this remarkable community newspaper, a publication that has always had a heart for animals.

Long before social media became the dominant platform it is today, Vista faithfully published photos of our animals up for adoption week after week, often at very short notice. In times when we faced desperate financial challenges, Vista stood beside us, helping raise awareness about our plight and giving our animals a voice.

Marti Will never shied away from any story, whether joyful, heartbreaking, or exposing cruelty. Through reporting and commitment, they continuously raised awareness around animal welfare and the realities faced within our communities.

Even our Annual General Meeting notices found their place in the pages of Vista.
