Matjhabeng is struggling to make ends meet and that is no surprise if you have experienced client service for water and electricity billing queries.

For years now, taxpayers of Matjhabeng Local Municipality have to read their own water meters, as well as electricity usage. If you own a computer and have WiFi, you can email your readings with accompanying photos of the readings.

In addition you have private people on standby to collect your refuse, which you yourself pay and then still pay the municipality for refuse collection.

In exchange for this, the only thing we as taxpayers, and especially the elderly, expect is human dignity when visiting the offices with a query.

Please help the elderly as you would want your parents to be helped. A smile, courtesy and patience with an elder is all we ask.
