The RCFA Bhubezi Fight Club delivered yet another strong performance at the Best of the Best Tournament, held in Vereeniging on 5 July.
The three top fighters in the club impressed in their divisions and brought home several medals.
Gofaone Sebati (first yellow belt) earned a gold medal in semi-contact sport boxing and a silver medal in semi-contact high kick in the junior division.
Brandon Kelly (first yellow belt), competing in multiple modes, walked away with a gold medal in the millennium division, and two silver medals for low kick and close combat (semi-contact).
The third fighter, Mohale Notha (red belt), stood out with a gold medal win in semi-contact sport boxing, showcasing his continued growth and resilience.
The club’s head instructor, Sensei Joe Gladstone Ralejoe, served as one of the tournament officials and fulfilled the role of judge.
The club commends its students for their growth and discipline, as many are now stepping up to support one another during training and assisting with coaching duties.
“With recent tariff increases and limited venue access, we’ve had to slightly scale down our training schedule, a factor that may slow our capacity to take in new students or expand our programs as planned.
“Nevertheless, our commitment to delivering quality training and creating a safe, empowering space for every student remains as strong as ever.”
