Three suspects are expected to appear in court after being arrested in separate drug-related incidents during crime prevention operations conducted by Western Cape police over the weekend.
Members attached to Operation Prosper carried out targeted operations across Bellville, Delft and Hanover Park this morning (Sunday 5 July) as part of ongoing efforts to curb drug dealing in vulnerable communities.
Western Cape police spokesperson Sgt Wesley Twigg said officers remain committed to removing drugs from communities.
“Western Cape police are hard at work to rid the streets of drug dealers who are distributing drugs in vulnerable communities. Members of Operation Prosper conducted several crime prevention operations which led to the arrest of suspects who were found in possession of drugs in the early hours of Sunday morning,” said Twigg.
