Soyama Khophe (second from left) is set to compete in the u-11 boys category for the West Coast Table Tennis Federation at the South African Inter-District Junior and Senior Table Tennis Championship, scheduled from 1 to 7 October in Cape Town. Meanwhile, Siphesihle Taba (second from right) represented the West Coast Table Tennis District School’s Team in the u-14 girls category at the provincial schools trials, that took place from 22 to 24 September, also in Cape Town. At the time of going to print this week, due to an earlier print slot because of Monday’s public holiday, the trials had not yet taken place. The school wished both young athletes the best of luck in their respective tournaments. Pictured are team manager Richard Gebe, Soyama, Siphesihle and Mbongeni Dlova (coach).
