President High School proudly participated in the Urban Sport and Music Festival hosted by Bosmansdam High School from Thursday 8 to Saturday 10 August.
Rugby
The President High School u-19 rugby team excelled, securing first place among the 12 participating schools. Their performance was as follows:
- President High School vs Settlers High School (7-0)
- President High School vs Edgemead High School (15-12)
- President High School vs Fairbairn College (24-0)
- President High School vs Kasselsvlei (7-0)
- President High School vs Bosmansdam High School (6-5)
Netball
The u-19 netball team achieved 7th place in the tournament. Their results were:
- President High School vs Camps Bay High School (12 – 10)
- President High School vs Table View High School (8-12)
- President High School vs Kasselsvlei High School (7 – 7)
- President High School vs Camps Bay (9-8).
“One of our netball players, Jamie-Leigh Jooste, was selected to be part of the u-19 touring team to Abu Dhabi in recognition of her exceptional performance,” says Ericha Koorts from the marketing department of the school.
Koorts adds that they are immensely proud of all their players.
