This past Saturday Robertson CBD Neighbourhood Watch (NHW) members attended their first training session.

This is one of three sessions, and is offered at no cost to volunteers, to equip them with the necessary skills to patrol the community safely and effectively. Another workshop will take place on Saturday 24 June.

Interested individuals eager to get involved are welcome to make contact with one of the organisers.

Community members who take daily walks or runs are encouraged to join, as foot patrol is one of the most visible and effective ways of safeguarding the community.

To stay informed and up to date please join the RCNW WhatsApp group, or the Facebook group (Robertson CBD Neighbourhood Watch). Joining these groups also enables people to report suspicious activity immediately on the correct platform for the necessary actions or precautions to be taken.

For more information on this initiative, or find out how to join, you can contact Richard Joseph on 084 788 9412 or Michael Scheepers on 082 464 6263.
