Langeberg learners celebrate museum day

International Museum’s Day was celebrated recently, this year’s theme being “Sustainability and wellness of museums”. The Montagu Museum held an oral competition on the theme. Learners of Jake Gerwel Technical, Bonnievale High School, Masakheke Combined School, Ashton Secondary School and Langeberg Senior Secondary School competed against one another. Mukelani Dube of Bonnievale High School came first, Lee-Ann Chihuri from Ashton Secondary School second, Liyema Mbi from Masakheke Combined School third, and in fourth place was Danole Williams of Langeberg Senior Secondary School. From left are Liyema, Mukelani, Lee-Ann and Danole.
