Food Lover’s Market has existed at the De Zwartland Market since November 2023 under the management of a highly experienced retailer of 43 years, Valentino Ricciardi.

“Most of my team are from Malmesbury,” he pointed out, “13 are internally transferred and 106 sourced from Malmesbury and the surrounding Swartland region. This ensures the team brings a diverse range of skills and experiences to the table, all to benefit our shoppers.”

What are his favourite departments at the store? “I love the bakery as well as the fruit and veg departments, because of the level of freshness.”
