The athletes of False Bay Primary School in Macassar Village got a king-sized boost on their sports day with yummy meals donated by Hungry Lion. The teachers and sports coaches of the school are committed to supporting the learners’ education as well as boosting skills development, partnering with the African Quick Service restaurant to ensure the athletes are treated to a warm meal after building up a “king-zed” appetite on the track and field. “To help a child is to shape the future, and we were thrilled to be able to promote and encourage these young sports stars to take part in sports and channel their energy in a positive way by incentivising them,” said Denise Neethling, Hungry Lion’s Head of Communications, brand public relations and corporate social investment projects. “We know sport does not necessarily build character, but reveals it, and we are proud to help bring out these children’s amazing character!” Foto:
