CAPE WINELANDS – One lane on the R46 towards Gouda in the Western Cape is still closed after diesel and oil were spilled on Saturday morning, 21 March.

Byron la Hoe, a spokesperson for the Western Cape Mobility Department, confirmed the incident.

“Provincial Traffic Services responded to an incident on the R46 Nuwekloof Pass at 08:40, involving a heavy vehicle that spilled diesel and oil on the road.”
