Grey College, Bloemfontein, proudly celebrates the outstanding achievements of Rupie Bester, JC van Jaarsveldt, and Coach Sipho Booi, who represented the school at the South African Table Tennis National Championships in Polokwane (28 June – 8 July).
Against fierce national competition, Rupie Bester delivered a stellar performance:
- Gold Medal – U15 Boys’ Singles, earning the title of South African Champion.
- Bronze Medal – U19 Boys’ Doubles, showcasing versatility and resilience across age categories.
Their participation reflects Grey College’s growing strength in table tennis, with Coach Booi’s guidance ensuring that the boys competed with skill, discipline, and pride. Rupie’s dual success highlights not only his talent but also the depth of Grey College’s sporting excellence.
