Stellenbosch – Rhenish Girls’ High School proudly celebrates the achievements of its 1st Water Polo Team, which competed in the prestigious Inspired Cup in Johannesburg this past weekend.
After a strong run through the pool stages, the team overcame Our Lady of Fatima in the semi‑finals to secure a place in the final. Facing Hudson Park, the result did not fall in our favour, but the scoreline is far from the only measure of success.
Spirit and Recognition
In every match, right up to the last whistle, our players gave their all. Special congratulations go to Bailey and Isla, named Attacker and Defender of the Tournament, respectively. Both, along with Sophia, were also selected for the Tournament Team—a testament to their skill and commitment.
Rhenish extends heartfelt thanks to the players, coaches, and supporters who cheered from the stands and from home. This tournament showcased the resilience, talent, and spirit of our water polo programme, and we are immensely proud of every individual who contributed to this inspiring journey.
