Pearson High School, Gqeberha, proudly congratulates four of its learners who have recently been selected to represent South Africa in water polo. Their dedication and talent especially reflect the strength of our sporting programme and the spirit of excellence at Pearson.

Girls’ Team Representation

Heartfelt congratulations to Sarah Whitehead and Tatum Dace. They have been selected for the South African Under‑17 Girls’ Schools Water Polo Team. They will also compete at the EU Nations Cup Junior Women in Brno, Czechia, from 15–24 November 2026.

Pearson also commended Jorja Wilmot. She has been named a non‑travelling reserve for the squad—a recognition of her skill and commitment.

Boys’ Team Achievement

Pearson also extends its congratulations to Michael Swart. He has been selected for the South African Under‑17 Boys’ Schools Water Polo Team. He will compete at the EU Nations Cup Junior Men in Brno, Czechia, from 1–10 November 2026. Michael’s achievement certainly reflects his hard work, perseverance, and passion for the sport.

A Proud Moment for Pearson

To have four learners recognised at the national level is certainly a remarkable accomplishment. Pearson High School celebrates their success and wishes Sarah, Tatum, Jorja, and Michael every success as they represent their school, province, and country on the international stage.
