National Rugby Honour for two Kearsney boys

Kearsney College is proud to celebrate the outstanding National Rugby Honour achievement of two of its rugby stars. Nhlanhla Ndlovu and Clement Makelele have been selected for the prestigious 2026 SA Schools Rugby Team. The team was announced by SA Rugby this past weekend.

The duo impressed while representing the Sharks at the recent Craven Week tournament in Gqeberha, earning them national recognition.

Loose forward Ndlovu, deputy head prefect at Kearsney, continues his rise after playing for the SA Schools A side in 2025, now stepping up to the National Rugby Honour of the full SA Schools team. Makelele, a powerful prop, joins him in flying the flag for Kearsney on the national stage.

This achievement underscores Kearsney’s tradition of excellence, where discipline, talent, and leadership combine to produce players of national calibre.
