PAARL – National Cricket Weeks. Several talented cricketers from Paarl Boys’ High School have been rewarded for their outstanding performances and commitment to the sport. They have been selected to represent Boland at the prestigious u-16 and u-19 National Cricket Weeks later this year.

The school recently congratulated the players on their selection, describing the achievement as a significant milestone in their cricketing journeys. Representing Boland at the national level is also regarded as one of the highest honours for schoolboy cricketers. It provides an opportunity to compete against some of the country’s top young talent.

The u.16 National Cricket Week will take place in Bloemfontein from 8 to 12 December. The u.19 National Cricket Week is scheduled for 16 to 20 December in Stellenbosch. Both events provide important platforms for players to showcase their abilities. They will also gain valuable experience against strong opposition from across South Africa.

Selection for these prestigious tournaments takes countless hours of hard work on and off the field. It is also a reflection of the strength of the cricket programme at Paarl Boys’ High. They have a proud tradition of producing quality cricketers who, of course, excel at the provincial and national levels.

Pride in the selected players

The school expressed its pride in the selected players, praising their commitment, discipline and passion for the game. Their achievements not only bring recognition to themselves but also to their families, coaches and the wider Paarl Boys’ High community.

As the countdown to the National Weeks begins, the players will no doubt be eager to make the most of this opportunity and represent Boland with distinction. The school community wishes them every success as they prepare to compete on the national stage and continue Paarl Boys’ High’s proud cricketing legacy.

Congratulations to all the selected players on this remarkable achievement. The entire school stands behind them and looks forward to following their progress during the National Cricket Weeks.
