Kearsney College’s soccer programme has, with four talented players who earned selection to KwaZulu-Natal representative teams ahead of the upcoming school holiday tour.
Jordan Summerford leads the charge in the U15A division. His technical ability and reading of the game have clearly caught the selectors’ eyes.
James Magor joins Summerford in the U15 ranks, selected for the B team.
Moving up the age groups, Khwezi Hlela has earned his stripes in the U16A setup. His composure on the ball mark him as one to watch.
Rounding out the Kearsney contingent, Ethan Moodley secures his place in the U16B squad. His versatility and football intelligence have impressed provincial coaches.
The tour provides these young footballers with crucial exposure to higher-level competition, allowing them to test themselves against the best talent the province has to offer. For Kearsney, it’s another feather in the cap of their youth development system.
