Grey College U/15A Crowned League Champions Again as Junior Cricket Teams Shine

Grey College’s junior cricket programme celebrated a successful conclusion to the league season, highlighted by the u-15A team’s impressive title defence in the Bloemfontein League Final.

The U-15A side delivered a determined performance against St Andrew’s School, Bloemfontein, to retain their league crown, successfully defending the title they won previously and once again demonstrating the team’s consistency, skill, and competitive spirit.

Grey College’s U-14 B team also enjoyed an outstanding campaign, finishing as runners-up in their league after an enthralling final against St Andrew’s u-15B team. In a match that went down to the very last ball, the Grey boys narrowly missed out on the title but earned widespread praise for their resilience and fighting spirit throughout the season.

The Grey College community congratulates both teams on their excellent achievements and commends the players, coaches, and support staff for their dedication and commitment. Their performances throughout the season reflect the strength of the school’s cricket programme and the values of perseverance, teamwork, and sportsmanship that continue to define Grey College cricket.

Well done to both teams on a memorable and highly successful season.
