English Olympiad winners. Strand High School Shines in English Olympiad Success!
Strand High School is bursting with pride over the outstanding achievements of their learners in this year’s English Olympiad — so much so, they are sharing the news in English!
For a proudly Afrikaans school, this is a phenomenal accomplishment: not a single participant received less than a Merit certificate! A total of 40 learners took part in the Olympiad, which explored the theme of “Celebration” through a rich selection of short stories, extracts, and poetry. After sitting the exam in March, the long-awaited results are finally in — and they’re spectacular.
