Congratulations to Allen Glen High School, the first school in South Africa to reach the milestone of saving 2 million printed pages of paper by switching to ITSI’s eLearning solution.
After the completion of the necessary infrastructure upgrades at the school, their eLearning programme was implemented across the board for Grades 8 to 12 at the beginning of 2014, and they’ve never looked back.
IT School Innovation would like the thank Allen Glen’s principal, Johan Wiehahn, for taking the initiative to switch from traditional textbooks to eLearning tablets in 2014. The school saves literally millions of pages of paper that would otherwise be consumed in the process of endlessly photocopying additional resource pages from textbooks. Not only that, but Allen Glen boasts a 10% increase in average marks since implementation.
