Controversy around the position of John Steenhuisen, minister of agriculture, flared up again after his sudden about turn to allow private vaccination of cattle for foot-and-mount-disease ((FMD). This after months went by with him refusing to do so.
Senior members of the DA and political analysts differ on whether he should stay or go. This after a high court judge also had harsh words for the minister.
