The Konoha Martial Arts club hosted the Diamond Classics, an annual Northern Cape provincials event, that took place at Curro Kathu.

The team of Konoho Martial Arts, who also competed in the event held in early August, did exceptionally well.

Clubs from the Northern Cape and North West, under the auspices of several associations, competed in karate, kick-boxing, weapons and grappling. Associations such as the National Martial Arts South Africa and International Sports Karate/Kickboxing Association (NMA/ISKA), World Association of Kickboxing Organizations (Wako), World Union of Karate-Do Federations (WUKF) and the Full Contact Martial Arts Association (FCMA) were represented.

All the sponsors that assisted to made this event possible, are thanked by the organisers.
