Two learners of the Northern Cape High School in Kimberley competed in the Northern Cape and Free State Provincial Powerlifting Championship in Bloemfontein on 19 February. Both received gold. Dyllan Vorster (pictured, Gr. 11) competed in the U16 age group and Gareth Kriel (Gr. 12) in the U18 group. They will compete against South Africa’s best in the national championship at the end of March.
