The Kimberley Harriers Running Club presented a Mandela Day fun run on 19 July in support of the Sinotando Child and Youth Care Centre in Galeshewe. Runners or walkers could complete a 4 km route. Ria Janse van Vuuren, club secretary, said the club collected a variety of products to donate, as well as R2 630. At the handing over to the centre are from the left Janse van Vuuren, Lydia Thebe (principal of the centre) and Esmé Hartney (manager of Child Welfare South Africa in Kimberley).
