With the hosting of the Honorary Rangers Night Race by the Kimberley Harriers Running Club, the club raised much-needed funds for the volunteer work of the Sanparks Honorary Rangers in the Diamantveld Region.

The registration of participants for this event on 1 November at the Rooifontein game farm raised R3 500. After Sunelle Boshoff donated her R250 prize money, R3 750 was donated to the honorary rangers to supplement the conservation, tourism, and environmental needs within Sanparks.

Kutlwano Dithejane (Nedbank Athletics Club) was first in the 10 km men’s category, in 37:35. Second was Harry Seekoei (Harriers) in 39:39, and third Neo Nthibane (Nedbank), also in 39:39.

In the women’s 10 km category, Charis de Klerk (private) was first (57:08), Boshoff (Bothaville Marathon Club) second (57:09), and Monique Hugo (Harriers) third (1:02:21).
