Athletics Griqualand West (AGW) held its 10 km championship as part of the recent Vodacom Meerkat Marathon, presented by the Kimberley Road Runners.
During this event on Saturday, 3 February, the following athletes qualified to represent the federation at the Athletics South Africa (ASA) 10 km National Championship in March in Gauteng:
- Katlego Shomeleile, in a time of 31:56 (open);
- Siphiwe Mqaisa, 32:32 (open);
- Diteko Motshabi, 32:52 (junior);
- AJ Sabbat, 35:43 (junior); and
- Deacon Hendricks, 35:43 (junior).
