Line up at soup kitchen as project draws to a close

The Kenhardt Youth Development Project (KYDP) winter soup kitchen project ended on 31 August after three successful months. It was completed under the theme, “Help us, help our community”. Kimberley Samuels, project manager of the KYDP, said the Kenhardt community stepped in with support and have “partnered, sponsored and rendered a helping hand”. The KYDP extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported this non-profit organisation, and for the team who overcame the cold and sometimes unpleasant weather conditions to do their part every week. “Your passion for the youth was evidently proven,” Samuels said, remarking that the KYDP was looking forward to next year’s winter soup kitchen.
