After round two of the Frances Baard Rugby Cup, the Sables of the Kimberley Rugby Club (KRC) are still on top of the log after they beat the Universal Rugby Football Club 26 – 20 on Saturday 7 March at Diskobolos.
On the same day, Rooikatte beat the KRC’s Duikers with 33 – 26 at the Christiana High School, while the match between Hartswater and Jacobsdal was postponed until 2 April.
Rooikatte is second on the log, followed by Hartswater. The third round is scheduled for 14 March between the six teams.
