Flora Pico (69) from Kimberley has her eyes tested for the first time, as her sight has been giving problems for a long while. She received her first set of spectacles later the day, and she hoped to also have her teeth and sore leg checked. Pico made use of these medical services earlier in June at the Phelophepa Healthcare Train, while it was at the Kimberley station. At this roaming medical facility a variety of healthcare services are offered. The train is currently in Upington, where it will be until Friday (24/06). After that it will be at the De Aar station from Monday (27/06) until Friday, 8 July. Residents can visit the facility on weekdays from 08:00.
