“Valued Materials – A Work in Progress” is a solo exhibition by artist Tshepo Bopape and curated by Chepape Makgato in the William Humphreys Art Gallery (WHAG) in Kimberley. Bopape is the 2026 WHAG Artist-in-Residence, and the exhibition marks the culmination of his residency at the gallery and reflects an intensive period of research and studio production undertaken in Kimberley. The opening reception takes place on 5 March 17:30 for 18:00, with Dr. Refiloe Lepere as opening speaker. Members of the public, artists, students, and cultural practitioners are invited to attend.
