Last week, drugs worth just under a million rand were found by the police in the Northern Cape.
Sgt Omphile Masegela, police spokesperson, said tik, Mandrax tablets, and cocaine with an estimated value of R705 100, were found at a premises in Upington on Friday (09/06).
A 40-year-old man was arrested. At another house dagga worth R5 040 was found, and a 35-year-old man arrested.
Officials also found tik, nyaope and dagga worth nearly R70 000 at two locations in Jan Kempdorp and Hartswater.
At Buffelsrivier and Komaggas police arrested five suspects and confiscated a large amount of tik, Mandrax and dagga.
