The Northern Cape Department of Health requests the assistance of the community in locating the family of patients who were admitted to the West End Specialised Hospital in Kimberley.
Patient Elisa Thobela is estimated to be age 65 years of age. Thobela was admitted on 2 September 2005. She was found by a social worker roaming the streets. According to the patient she is from Maseru, Lesotho.
Brain Tier, who is estimated to be 47 years old, was admitted on 2 May 2005. Tier was found in the streets of De Aar, hallucinating and aggressive. His fingerprints were taken by the Department of Home Affairs, but information on him was not found on the system.
Rutaven Onbekend is estimated to be 53 years old and was admitted on 27 February 2007. Onbekend was living in the streets of Kakamas. He then displayed aggressive behaviour and was disorientated. His fingerprints were taken by the Department of Home Affairs, but information on him was not found on the system.
Phumzile Makanda, who is estimated to be 50 years old, was admitted on 7 June 2017 after found roaming the streets of De Aar. His fingerprints were taken by the Department of Home Affairs, but information on him was not found on the system.
