The police in Delportshoop are investigating an alleged abduction case following the disappearance of a 15-year-old female from Proteahof in the town on Monday, 13 February.
According to Sgt Timothy Sam of the police media centre, preliminary investigations indicate that the young woman met and spoke with a male person.
This male person was seated inside a white bakkie in front of a tavern in the Proteahof location.
The police are requesting the public to assist in tracking down this male person who goes by the name of Solomon Mdlulu.
He may assist the police with the investigation of the case.

- If a missing person is found or returns voluntarily, inform the investigating officer immediately.
- An SAPS 92 form must be completed to inform the Bureau of Missing Persons that the missing person’s report can be removed from the circulation system.
