The police in the Northern Cape are offering a cash reward for positive information that may result in them finding the 5-year old boy who has been missing for more than six months.

Le-Virno van Wyk has been missing since 31 May after he was last seen playing at a railway track near the Skierlik squattercamp with his friends.

The police have made an appeal to the public to assist with information that could lead to the location of this missing boy.

When Le-Virno disappeared, a search operation was launced around the area with no luck.

Anyone with information can contact the FCS Commander, Capt. Koos Van Den Heever, on 082-302-0442 or, alternatively, the investigating officer, Sgt Lebogang Mokwene on 082-330-4478.

All information will be treated with the strictest of confidence. The investigation continues.
