A reward is offered to anyone who can positively assist to find Rex, a cross German Shepherd dog, who has been missing for four weeks now from his home in Kuruman.

Marianne Paxinos, his owner, says she suspects that Rex is in someone’s yard, and that people do not know that she is searching for him.

Rex is black with a white spot on his chest, and stands approximately 1,24 m tall. He has been castrated.

Paxinos says Rex will react when being called on his name.

According to her the theft of dogs is common in the Kuruman area, and it takes place either to sell the dogs for money, or to use them in dog fights.

Paxinos lost all her photos of Rex due to a factory default setting on her cellphone, but she was able to find a photo on internet of a dog that looks very similar to Rex.

Any person who might come across Rex, can send a photo of the dog to Paxinos on WhatsApp, who will be able to confirm if it is indeed Rex.

Anyone who can assist in finding Rex, can call Paxinos on 068-654-9832.
