The beginning of spring welcomed the seventh Vulture Trail Run, presented by die Kimberley Harriers Running Club in Dronfield, outside Kimberley. In this race, spanning a distance of approximately 16 km, Arthur Jantjies of the Kgosi Galeshewe Athletics (KGA) club was the first male and overall winner in 1:04:24. Second was Tshepo Moalahi (Kimberley Harriers) in 1:04:38, and third Ali Isaac Husain (Kimberley Harriers) in 1:05:11. The first female was Denice Thomas (Hopetown Running Club) in 1:24:28, second was Nadine van Eck (Hopetown Running Club) in 1:26:26, and third Lizaan Curry (private) in 1:38:00.
