A total of 60 long-serving employees of the Beefmaster Group, Kimberley’s largest private employer, were recognised for their dedication and commitment across the group’s operations.

The ceremonies took place in Kimberley and in Kempton Park, with the event in Kimberley celebrating staff from its meat processing facility in the city, and its feedlot in Christiana. In Kempton Park, the retail staff were honoured.

A particular highlight was the recognition of Abram Liau Sello for his exceptional 35 year tenure with the company.

The Kimberley ceremony recognised 54 employees across various service milestones, with 35 employees receiving awards for ten years of service, ten employees for 15 years, and four employees each for both 20 and 25 years of service.

“The loyalty demonstrated by our long-serving employees is truly remarkable and deeply valued by the company,” says Cindy Nkgoeng, HR manager at Beefmaster Group.

“These individuals are more than just employees – they are our most valued assets and the true superpower behind our company’s success.”

She says one of the most rewarding part of the long service awards is recognising that many individuals commenced their journey with entry-level positions at the company, steadily advancing through the ranks to assume management roles over the years.
