Recently, learners of the Newpark Primary School in Kimberley hosted a colourful fashion parade in which recycled materials took centre stage.
Learners proudly modelled costumes assembled from various recyclable materials, including plastic, cardboard and maize bags.
The event in March showcased the imaginative talents of the learners, and also highlighted the involvement of parents and teachers, who collaborated to create unique designs.

It was enthusiastically supported and created a festive atmosphere. The aim of the initiative was to promote creativity, encourage awareness of environmental conservation and the importance of recycling.
The event was considered a great success and left a lasting impression on all who attended.
