Fans of the Leopard’s Leap South African Table will be delighted to hear that the acclaimed authentic South African culinary experience is reopening to a brand-new season of food and wine enjoyment.
Just in time for Heritage Month celebrations, guests are invited to take a seat at the generous table in the vibey Leopard’s Leap kitchen for an introduction to how the melting pot that is South African culture has influenced local food traditions and styles of cooking.
With a fresh interpretation by newly appointed executive chef Stephan Moolman and hosted by head chef William Carolissen, the experience brings together foodies and friends for a relaxed lunch of typical South African dishes, complemented by wines from Leopard’s Leap’s premium Culinaria Collection.

A highlight on any Franschhoek itinerary, the adventure starts with a heritage-inspired braai table in September.
Monthly themes promise to cover our rich culinary heritage through collaborations with visiting chefs, seasonal ingredients and origin-specific charm – from Weskus favourites to Karoo traditions, exotic elements from our rich food ancestry, recipes inspired by historic journeys and the nostalgic stories that accompany them.
