FRIDAY 2 OCTOBER

Stellenbosch: The DAISY JONES BAR turns six with a performance by Cape Town’s wildest alt-ska outfit, Crimson House, in Dukes of Note. The band doesn’t really do shows, they take over the room. Ska horns, blues-punk grit, Afro-gypsy rhythms and a healthy dose of street-cabaret chaos, all driven by frontman Riaan Smit. No backing tracks and no sitting still – just one long, sweaty, brass-blasted assault on the dance floor. The doors open at 17:00. Book online via Quicket.

SUNDAY 4 OCTOBER

Stellenbosch: Slowdown Sundays, an exclusive series hosted at MORGENHOF WINE ESTATE from 14:00 to 18:00. Amy Jones headlines the intimate live-music session in an unplugged acoustic performance. Guests can unwind with award-winning wines and delicious seasonal pairings crafted to complement the afternoon’s rhythm. Seating is limited, so booking is essential. Tickets are available via Webtickets, Pick n Pay and Boxer Superstore.

TUESDAY 6 OCTOBER

Stellenbosch: African Drumming Tuesdays at the STELLENBOSCH UNIVERSITY MUSEUM will be held from 13:00 to 14:00. It aims to enhance wellness and well-being on campus, with sessions free and open to all. To reserve your spot, contact Ricky on 021 808 3660 or rickyb@sun.ac.za.

WEDNESDAY 14 OCTOBER

For enquiries on the group or talk, call 082 357 0497.
