Novus Crime — Municipal Law Enforcement officers nabbed a man found in possession of an imitation gun in Stellenbosch Central.

Gun found in Stellenbosch Central — A man was arrested by officers of Stellenbosch Municipality’s Law Enforcement, after he was allegedly found in possession of an imitation firearm on Saturday 5 September. The suspect was stopped in Hofman Street in Stellenbosch Central and found with the weapon hidden under his vehicle seat. The man apparently admitted ownership and the firearm, along with drug paraphernalia, was seized by Law Enforcement officers. The suspect was taken to Stellenbosch Police Station for processing, confirmed police spokesperson Captain Nathalie Martin, confirmed.
